I don’t have a ton of time tonight … but I got tagged by my amazing momma for a photo meme, so I couldn’t resist!
The meme is: post the fourth photo from the fourth folder in my computer.
This is interesting, because I split my time between two computers. So tonight the result is …
Which should look familiar, because it’s the Indian baked goods featured in this post! They’re actually not that good. They’re very dense — like marzipan — but they taste … well … funky. Lucas says they taste like incense and I think he’s right.
I’ve been learning to love Twitter and had an interesting foodie experience on the site this week. A while back, I had posted a question — did anyone know where I could find Bigelow’s seasonal Eggnogg’n flavor tea. A lot of bloggers were raving about it (as well as another kind that tastes like sugar cookie) and Lucas and I tried every local grocery story with no luck.
After posting that question and having no luck, I completely forgot about the request. But this week, a Bigelow rep found me on Twitter and sent me this link! I’m not sure I’m ready to buy a whole case of the stuff, tea-untasted, but it’s very cool the way technology and social networking are bringing us all a lot closer.
After my initial exitement about signing up for the 2010 Walt Disney World half marathon died down, I realized that I really need to kick it into gear if I want to be ready for the WildMan Triathlon in March.
So, tonight, I got smart! I love to run after work, but it’s been getting too dark to feel safe. A couple of runner friends suggested a few accessories:

And while that vest is actually pretty cute, I found another way. And it’s was like … duh!!!! I packed my running gear and at the end of the work day, I changed and ran 6 miles in the neighborhood around the office. It was gorgeous weather — cool but not cold — and I had a beautiful sunset to watch at the end of the run. I knew I could have kept running, but I have spinning in the morning and another brick planned for the weekend, so I knew I needed to chill.
The route was hilly and windy, but Jillian’s latest podcast got me through. She was pushing the idea that in order to be at your best, you have to put yourself first. It’s like the flight attendants say:

You have to put the oxygen mask on yourself before your children … because if you pass out, you’re both in big trouble.
Okay, gotta run … look for my thoughts on the new season of The Biggest Loser soon. Who do you think will be in the finals? Who are you rooting for?

I’m pretty sure that those tea’s have been on sale here for a while (since Christmas) and Ive seen them everywhere… If I see them again I’ll pick some up and send you some.
