Hear That? {crickets}

The house is too quiet! Lucas is off playing groomsman, the dogs are at the vet and it’s just me and the kitties.

Travers is in charge — see how fierce he is?

It’s been a busy day, and I’m rushing off to the airport in moments. I had to say goodbye to my favorite guys — Junior didn’t seem too upset. They know the words “puppy playland” which is a nice way of saying “kennel.”

Got my nails done, and ladies, if you need treatments? Check out Magic Nails. They were amazing. Clean, calm and they knew exactly what to do with my horrible, bitten-down and ravaged by acrylic nails. I’m difficult because I hate fake nails, and when I have to wear them (to grow my real ones out), I beg them to cut them as short as possible.

After seeing Meghann visit my favorite sammie place in Orlando, I was craving something fresh and fast for lunch. So I stopped by Designer Greens and Deli. Awesome.

“F” for packaging:

But “A” for taste:

The pictures aren’t too bad, huh? They’re from my iPhone. I’ll be reunited with my camera soon enough.

Off to pack and then the airport. I’m pretty excited to see my family and enjoy some nice cool weather — perfect for running!

And for any would-be robbers reading this post? Be warned. The place is alarmed and my neighbor is a cop who knows we’re on vacation. He’s checking on the house twice a day. And he has a gun. Just sayin’.

  1. haha I love your warning to would-be robbers. :)

    Did you go to the Waterford Magic Nails? I loved that place when I was in Orlando – I esp. loved getting pedicures in that back area where it’s a little darker with a fountain? Holy geez, talk about relaxing.

    That’s cool you have a cop for a neighbor. It’s always nice to have that piece of mind when you’re away.
