Another Floridian here, finally delurking!! <br><br>Mmmmm..I love fresh coconut water and meat too...if you want an easier way to open that coconut first you just look for those three little "eyes" at one end of the coconut (the top end once you find them). Take screwdriver and just poke through those three "eyes." <br><br>They are a lot softer than the hard shell and don't have that fibrous mess over them either, so they are pretty easy to poke through. Then pour the water out into a cup through your open holes.<br><br>Then you can crack open the nut however you want, heavy machinery, big tools...as kids we would go out to the sidewalk and throw it down a few times and that was that!<br><br>Of course if you don't want to tell you husband any of this I understand...he looks like he was having way too much fun with this!
