Later today, I’m going somewhere I don’t often go: the hair salon.
In fact, the last time that I went, it was for my super fancy schmancy makeover that made the newspaper. Awww, shucks. I miss those extensions.
But my darling husband either wanted to give me a treat OR wanted me to get rid of my split ends and horrifying dark roots. Either way, he helped out a good cause and won ME a cut and color at my favorite place in Central Florida. So off I go this afternoon to do my ‘do, and I’m seriously thinking about bangs. For a laugh, I thought I’d share this Brady Bunch montage I put together (Lucas practically screamed when he saw two of them). Any picks for what I should do? Cut and color are up for grabs, although I don’t want to lose much length.

Are they the biggest companies in the world? Nope. Do they have millions of followers? Nuh uh. But they are active, engaged, interested in connecting with real people, quick at customer feedback and response, and most of all…they’re real people! I love seeing these names in the #Fitblog and other chats, and having fun with social media. Obviously, I have special love in my heart for SurveyMonkey, as they are sponsoring me at Fitbloggin’, but I have been using and raving about the product for months. And the other guys? Just cool peeps.

I’m getting my hair cut tomorrow and trying to decide whether to go with side swept bangs or not too. I want them but fear regretting them. The decisions of a woman!
Wow, when was the short hair flashback picture taken? Since you love 30 Rock, have you read Bossypants? I don’t know if I’ve ever read a book that’s literally made me laugh out loud so much.
Have fun with the hair cut!
I listened to Bossypants on my ipod when running and like Coco- it made me laugh out loud…which lead to some strange looks on the path.
nice to see that in your list of 5 companies, i am in contact with 3 of them! I , too, appreciate the way that they interact with customers! always quick with an answer, eager to lend a hand and help out.
oh, and that Brady montage is priceless. We’re trying to convince our 13 yo son to get his hair cut, so i might just try something like that! great idea!!!
Keep up the awesome work, Katy!!!!
The butterfly on the window photo looks like a magic eye when you focus on the background! Crazay! Happy Friday Katy!
In re: your hair: I like the bottom left, but you could also pull off the style in the middle with a different color. I like the darker colors on you – have you considered going reddish? That could also really work for you. Whatever you decide, have fun!
I like your short hair!
Planking must be synonymous with summer – I JUST wrote a post about it. Today I’m on to push-ups. Love any “hotel room-friendly” workout!
Your short hair looks very good on you! I love it!
I love your Friday posts! They are really fun, and a great way to get in contact with others focused on health:)
