Fitbloggers in the House

I had such a blast last night hanging out, eating and talking with some of my favorite people:

All on live TV! Errr, Web TV.

Joe and Bess invited me, Meghann and Julie to be guests on the Florida Swim Network show “Swimmer Joe,” which is a really fun half-hour Webisode featuring people from various aspects of healthy living. Last night was the “Fitblogger” episode.

I hope you check it out and let us know what you think — and if that’s not enough incentive, here are a few things you’ll get to see:

  • Me get WAY too excited about the food order…and also, why I think it’s crucial to have a community to support you
  • Julie’s absolutely adorable laugh (and a great story of her very gradual journey to becoming a runner)
  • Meghann talk about the best ways to make smoothies while training for a Half Ironman
  • Us all talk about wiping out during training AND the scar that we all have in the exact same place
Plus, from the comments on Meghann and Julie’s recaps, it’s clear that America thinks Swimmer Joe is a hottie. :)

Swimmer Joe is kinda cute, in a “rustic” sort of way! I came across this video on Julie’s blog, and since you said that you get butterflies in your stomach each time you get a comment, I thought I’d leave you one. :) Glad I came across your blog, can’t wait to start reading! I just started one of my own to share my adventures as I moved to Switzerland, but now I have trouble thinking about what to write about on a daily basis. Any pointers?

Ahhh, the great “what the heck do I post about?” question. Let me put some thoughts together for a future post…stay tuned!
