A few weeks ago, I published a post called “My Rock the Run Playlist,” in which I shared some of the songs that were motivating me to get through some long runs and gym workouts.
Just a few minutes later, I got a great comment from Adam:

I needed good running/workout music so bad in fact that I started a company called “Rock My Run” (not named after your playlist, I swear!) and put 14 years of DJing & creating mixes to work for others. You can download seamless DJ mixes free while we’re in beta.

This is awesome. I have to have different music for different workouts. For strength training it has to be stuff like Metallica. But I don’t like it when running. Can’t wait to check this out!

I have been slacking on adding new music to my phone or Ipod lately. I think it is because I am currently running with a class at a local running store and they do not allow you to run with music during training (it is against their insurance policy). However, I NEED music on solo runs so I can’t wait to check out this site.

Thank you for sharing this! I love having fast pop/hip-hop music when I run and have really been into mixes lately (I just listened to Girl Talk on my run tonight!).
I just downloaded a 60 minute mix and 2-30 minutes – I’m going to try them out tomorrow!

I love that you shared this! I haven’t been running lately but I’ve been rocking the stationary bike. These are perfect to ride to when I’m not riding while yelling at… I mean watching Mad Men.
