Eggy’s Triumphant Return

Oh, happy, happy days…

No, those aren’t recycled pictures. When we lost Eggy I (RIP, friend), Junior was beside himself. So was I, watching his sorrow. So, I blogged about it, in “Hold On to Eggy and Don’t Let Go.”

And among the comments from people who understood Junior’s pain was this one from Dawn at Bare It All Fitness:

I tried to give my “eggy” to my chihuahua but it’s a little too large for him. If you want mine I would be happy to send it to you. Let me know.

This week, Eggy II arrived, and Junior wasted no time in breaking him in. Once we gave him his new toy, we had a tough time taking it away. Even his brother wanted in on the action, but it was a no go.

Happy dogs? Happy mama.

Thank you so much, Dawn — your kindness is appreciated by the entire Widrick family!

What is with this toy that dogs love it? Well, I hope you acquire a spare for the brothers. I like the last picture since; Junior looks like he is really smiling and happy. I am glad he got a replacement for the lost egg.
