Good things come in pink packages (sorry, MomJovi — I didn’t pick the color!).
After seeing some of my blogging buddies rave about Birchbox, I signed up. And man, oh man…I’m glad I did!

From Birchbox.com:
Birchbox delivers the best products and the best insider secrets, without any fuss. Every month Birchbox members will receive a curated box of luxe beauty samples. Each box will span beauty categories and deliver exciting products that fit into both your day-to-day routine, and into those days when you want to turn up the drama a notch.
Each month, you’ll receive a selection of 4-5 samples that we’ve tried (and retried) ourselves. You’ll receive anything from skincare to makeup to cult beauty tools, from well-known brands as well as emerging gems.
When you are certain you love the samples you’ve tried, you can purchase full-size versions directly from us in our shop. Every purchase earns you Birchbox Points you can use toward more fantastic products.
I’ve only gotten one shipment so far, but it was a winner.

The cool thing is that the samples are big enough to get multiple uses out of them, but not so big that it’s just more bathroom clutter.

I’m super excited to see what comes next month! I paid for Birchbox with own dinero, but if you want to sign up — drop my name, which earns me points for future purchases. Or don’t — no worries!
Speaking of boxes — this is one cool thing that I did not pay for. It was provided by the cool peeps at Lollihop and it’s filled with awesome. Literally. It’s packed with treats from some amazing companies.

Lucas, of course, already dug into the goodies and gives them two thumbs up. It’s a pretty decent pricing structure — between $19-23 a month, depending on your subscription. That seems pricy, but when you consider that you’re getting 8 items that would normally be $2-5, it’s not a bad way to discover some new treats.
Opening boxes is one of my favorite things. I do it slowly — slicing through the tape and peeling away paper. But I know many of you love to tear packaging a part to get to the good stuff. Which do you prefer?
P.S. The post title is obviously inspired by the most terrifying film ever made: Seven. Even seeing those words gives me chills. I hate scary movies and have no idea how I ever got talked into watching. Shudder.

Oskri is one of my favorite companies. SO excited to see them in your Lollihop box. They make the best allergen free snack bar. Tastes like candy but is made with quinoa and other good stuff.

I’m not normally a scary movie person either, but Seven is one of my favourite movies ever. And it is definitely what I thought of when I read your title. I can hear Brad Pitt’s panicked voice saying it… Eek!
I’ve been thinking of getting birchbox for a while, this post might push to actually get it! Opening up boxes when they arrive in the mail is definitely one of my favorite things, even if you know what’s in it, there’s still that air of excitement!

I admit you caused my latest salty addiction. I love Popchips and if I am not careful my son will steal the bag and eat them all.
If it is a sweet treat I am craving it is ice cream preferably low fat frozen yogurt.
