Have you noticed that I’ve been a bit less active in the blog and social media worlds recently? I think I’m still transitioning from my time away, and to be honest — it’s pretty wonderful.
I’m still keeping up on what you’re all doing, and I still have plenty to say. I’m not ending my blog or anything dramatic. I’m just…well…BEING. And it’s fabulous.
So today, you get a condensed, photo-only version of:

3. San Crispino basil cream gelato. Heaven.
4. I love mushrooms so much I want to take them out back and get them pregnant.

We sat with a group of people from England, Ireland and the States and spent hours talking about politics, money, food and culture. It was amazing!

Which one? They were all awesome
The pizza had a different topping on every slice — from zucchini to mushrooms to artichokes to olives and more…with a fried egg on top.
The special meal featured handmade gnocchi with gorgonzola; lasagna with onions and gruyere; penne with toasted zucchini flowers. And the list went on and on!
I thought the basil cream gelato was going to be the most delicious-looking thing on the page…but then I saw the mushrooms. From one mushroom lover to another, holy crap those those look heavenly!

You are making me miss living in Europe! I’m not that religious either, but when I was there, I cried. So much history, so much beauty. Europeans know how to enjoy life!! We all need to take note!
