I had a great weekend — it went by much too quickly! But I learned some lessons. Maybe you’ll be able to take advantage.
For example:
You can remove glitter nail polish using cotton and tin foil.

It’s super easy to get words — WORDS!!! — on your nails.

Going out is fun. Heading home before the shots? A brilliant idea.

(Thanks for the picture, Paula!)
I’m not a baby about giving blood, but four vials? That makes me a little queasy.

Riding the roller coasters at Universal is awesome. But you do reach a point of diminishing returns. For me, that’s four in a row. Hulk made me see green — and not just because the ride is that color.
However, the best deal at the park is the popcorn tub. $4.99 with .89 refills? Yes please!

There is apparently a sport in which people wear hockey skates and navigate a steep, twisty, ice-covered course. It’s like roller derby on a ski jump. Crazy and addictive. I watched an hour of it!
My dogs are motivated by food. Offer them a treat and they’ll do just about anything.

It is good luck to drink Boston beer from a Vermont glass when cheering on the New England Patriots. SUPERBOWL, BABY!

I saw your pin with those nails and wondered how hard it was. They look awesome!

Only wish I knew the glitter nail polish removal trick sooneR!
That glitter nail polish thing just rocked my world.

It was great seeing you again this weekend! But next time you need to get in on the shots and I can be the photographer.

I recently found out about the foil trick too! It removes the shallac polish like a charm.
Happy Monday girl!

1) I can totally see how The Hulk can do that to you. Although it is awesome, the upside-down twists are a beast!
2) That hockey skated roller derby/ski jump thing was on in the lobby of my hotel last weekend, and you are totally right, it is SO addictive to watch!!
3) Olive is also very food motivated. She always did so well in training class, and then we’d get home and try to get her to do things without treats and she’d just wait it out until we got so frustrated that we got out the treats again. Also, she is definitely spoiled, so that doesn’t help things.

I LOVE those nails! I’m usually horrific at giving myself a manicure but I’ve got to try this!

Wow, I had no idea you get words on your nails. They look awesome! I used to love riding rides at theme parks, and now I can’t seem to enjoy them. I get so woozy!

There was just a hockey-turned-luge-obstacle-course event here in the Twin Cities – awesome in a scary way! http://www.twincities.com/ci_19732711
I love the nails – definitely going to have to check that one out. I RARELY paint my fingernails so it may take some practice, though.
