HALLELUJAH.
That’s what I said two weeks ago when I got the little notification on Facebook’s mobile app that a new Pages Manager was available for download in the iTunes store.
I have been waiting (and waiting and waiting) for this, to be able to better manage my Facebook pages from my phone.
(Yeah, I have a lot of them. The list goes on … and on … and on.)
I was going to do a whole step-by-step review of the app and show you how to use it. But my pals at Inside Facebook already did one and it’s amazing. Check it out here.
The highlights:
- Post as your page, rather than your personal profile
- Easily post photos with captions
- Insights/analytics
- Much better access to comment notifications (and ability to moderate)
So go on. Post on with your bad selves.

Downloading now…thanks for the heads up!
Waiting to see how long an Android version will take for those of us who don’t have the iPhones. It sounds great though – and much-needed!
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Katy – any tips on managing multiple instagram accounts?
I’m able to post on my page rather than my personal profile and upload pictures with captions and get comment notifications from the regular FB app. Is this just handy if you have a ton of pages to manage?
I guess the only thing I can’t see from that app is the insights but I don’t look at those anyway because I don’t care. #badblogger
