The birth story is coming. At some point. It’s amazing how different a perspective I have now on time — the passage of it. What’s important, and what’s not. How quickly it can fly and how slowly it can crawl.
Audrey’s entrance to the world was without a doubt the most challenging, overwhelming, emotional, happy and life-fulfilling experience of my life. It took her nearly a full 24 hours, kicking and screaming (more screaming from me than her) but at 12:44 a.m. on October 13th, 2012, I became a mother.
More soon. I’m off to snuggle this incredible creature.

I can’t believe Hunter is almost 8 months old and that in just 4 short months we’ll be celebrating his 1st birthday! Someone once told me “the hours are long but the years are short.” I try and remember that when I am up in the middle of the night!
