New Tool Tuesday: Florida Blogger Directory

I am SO excited about a new project that my dear friend just launched to support the Florida blogging community. While I’d love to take credit for even a small piece, this is all her hard work — and I honestly think it’s something that other states need to copy.

(I’ll also shout out my friends at Healthy Living Blogs — they have a fabulous directory that is easy to search, so check it out!)

At FLBlogCon.com, you’ll find lots of cool tools:

But the one I wanted to focus on today is the new directory, especially because you can add your own name and URL for others to find.

This. is. awesome. And it compliments some of the other great and established resources for Florida bloggers (Facebook groups, etc.)

Check it out and if you’re in Florida, ask to have your website added. If you’re not in Florida, you may want to consider starting something like this yourself!

  2. Yay! I didn’t know you were in Florida! Looking into it now :) I’ve been trying to find ways to connect with other bloggers and most seemed to be in the New England/West Coast area!

  3. do i just direct message them to get added or is there a form to fill out?

  4. who do i ask/email in order to have my blog listed? this is super cool!

  5. Thanks for spreading word, Katy! If anyone wants to be added, just send me your web url, Twitter name, and category you think best suits your blog. flblogcon@gmail.com

  6. Hi Katy. This looks like a fantastic project. There’s such a vibrant blogging scene in Florida right now – it’s a great idea to have a directory for like-minded writers, so readers can discover exciting new bloggers.

    Best wishes, Alex

  1. [...] something I’m admittedly jealous of: Katy shared the new Florida Blogger Directory. Anyone have some resources/time available to make this happen again for the Ohio Blogging [...]
