New Tool Tuesday: MyHabit.com

I’m not much of an online shopper. I get scared at the prospect of buying clothes (I’m a size twoelve, so it’s really difficult to know what will fit my body) and I hate paying for shipping.

(Grumpy girl, much?)

But I squealed when I stumbled upon a new deals site, and I can’t get enough. So is this a tool per se? No. But it helped me save a buttload of money on some items I really wanted, so I thought I’d pass it on. And no, this is not a sponsored post.

MyHabit.com is a deal aggregator that is time-based, like Groupon or Living Social or any of the other buying sites. But this one has an incredible mix of stuff for the home, apparel and more. Plus, you get FREE shipping both ways — so if you don’t like something, send it back!

I love it so far, and although I’m not shopping for much Dolce and Gabbana or Christian Siriano clothing, I have found some steals on Chi flatirons, lotions, K*Swiss shoes and more.

I was able to get right in, but if you need an invite, let me know and I’ll add you to the list.

Stuff sells out really quickly, so be sure you keep checking the site. But it’s very clear which deals are current, which are ending soon and which are the most popular. So it’s worth a look, especially after you’re lusting after any specific items.

Help me out: what new tools have you discovered that I should know about?

I have heard of it, but I haven’t been on there too much. Mainly we have too much stuff to start with.

BTW, I found you via RunEatRepeat. I am fairly new to blogging. I want to get more into it, and I really don’t know where to start (buying a domain, transferring my blog to wordpress (unless you know of an easier tool), and finally setting up ads. Do you have certain posts or a search I should do on you blog to help me get started? Or in the alternative do you teach online classes about this?

    Thanks

I have the hardest time shopping online. I hate having to send things back, but at least with free shipping each way I’d feel a bit more comfortable taking the gamble.

    Ohmygosh ….. I love MYHABIT!!!

Great variety …. always something classy.

The prices are extraordinarily reasonable. Simply wonderful clothing for babies, children and older kids too. Can’t be beat with complimentary ship and no taxes. Not for Illinois anyway.

Have you looked at the designer fashions? The prices are shocking. Very-very affordable. Just gorgeous things …. for everyone.

Kitchen items are amazing. Also the lamps are just so nice. I ordered 4 pillows at different times. Love em.

As a matter of fact ….. gonna shop (just look!) now. It’s been awhile. Ha.

    P.S. Gilt is great too!

I think I have to also check them out even if I’m not a fan of online shopping…But I am afraid I might get addicted and always buy them things…
