Social Media Toolkit

I was so disappointed to miss the Central Florida Bloggers Conference this past weekend — yes, I had an incredible time visiting family and friends in Syracuse (“Happy to Be Home“) but couldn’t help but get sad when I had to turn down the opportunity to speak at and attend #CFLBlogCon.

I felt like I was in the room, since my boss Marc Middleton gave the keynote presentation, all about our work at Growing Bolder.

I also got the download from my friend and colleague Jackie, who blogs at (you can see her recap here).

The tracks all sounded so fantastic, and the #CFLBlogCon tweetstream is still going strong…

Had I been able to attend, I think that my goal would have been to give everyone some concrete tasks that they can do immediately to improve their blogs and websites. So while it’s not the same as giving the presentation in person, I thought I could offer some advice here, in the form of a Social Media Toolkit.

All of the links below are to posts that I have written, but most have links to other sources inside — so feel free to poke around and ask any questions that aren’t answered here.

I am sorry I missed meeting you. Love your #fitblog chats on Twitter. We are tying to do a tweet-up chat like that for our Get Moving program at the Y. I’ll have to join in on Tuesday!
