So many hugs. And yet, not nearly enough.
Fitbloggin’ is, for me, one of the most inspiring, fulfilling, emotional, reinvigorating events anywhere in America, and as long as Roni will keep having me, I’ll keep going.
There are no cliques. This is, essentially, the anti-clique conference. You want support? You get it. You want tough love? You get that too. No matter where you fall on the weight loss/fitness spectrum, you have people who understand everything that you’re going through: the good, the bad and the really, really emotional.
And this year, an extra reason to fall in love.
Watching my kid run around — literally, RUN — with so many people who will be her role models in the years to come. She is the reason that I do what I do. She is the most important reminder that my health, my fitness and my self-care must come first.
And our little family vacation in Savannah came at the perfect time.
